TON HI SPEC FLUORESCENT This was the first ever specifically developed aquarium lighting tube. The Triton light spectrum is based on the light spectrum requirements of corals and plants and also takes into account the light absorption of water. The result is a lamp that concentrates all of its power output in the areas of the spectrum, which penetrate water and is utilised by plants/corals. This is a unique approach compared to ‘daylight’ (6500K-colour temperature) imitation lamps, which waste power in unnecessary areas of the spectrum. Triton uses Triphosphor technology that gives: l A bright light with high lumen output l Excellent maintenance of light output – Triton remains above 90% of maximum light output for the whole life of the tube (7500 hr. Ave.), so no more replacing faded lamps after 6 months. TRITON – Ideal daylight spectrum and high light output for: l Growing medium to high light requirement freshwater aquatic plants l Marine macro algaes l Soft and hard corals l It also creates an ideal reef lighting effect for marine aquariums which contain just fish
